Individuals who have difficulty verbally communicating can find this form of therapy especially helpful. There are numerous techniques of art therapy including but not limited to, coloring, drawing, painting, and sculpturing. Through the expression of art, a licensed therapist can understand and process the nonverbal messages found in the art and work to resolve deeper issues.
