Northlake Behavioral Health System provides short-term, acute crisis stabilization as well as intensive outpatient care. We use individual and group therapy. All therapeutic services are research based and are best practices for acute psychiatric care. Patients also participate in expressive therapy, which includes creating art projects to discuss feelings, playing games and sports, horticultural therapy, animal-assisted therapy and music/dance therapy. The patients are also provided with enriching special events and holiday celebrations throughout their stay.

There are school sessions available for all patients currently enrolled. Students are encouraged to work on their home school assignments. When consent is authorized, Northlake works with your child’s home school to coordinate their educational lessons and verify that your child’s is participation in our school program.
