Inpatient services at Northlake Behavioral Health System provide acute psychiatric care for those 18 years and older. Patients will receive comprehensive care tailoring an individualized treatment plan addressing their specific needs, strengths and treatment goals. A variety of group and individual therapy sessions are offered throughout the day to aid in recovery. The following are among the disorders we treat:

  • Anxiety Disorder
  • Depression
  • Mood Disorders
  • Bipolar Disorders
  • Schizophrenia
  • Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
  • Substance Use Disorder

The Adolescent Inpatient Program at Northlake helps adolescents ages 12-17 to manage symptoms of mental health concerns to reach overall improved well-being. With our customized treatment plans, your child will have the opportunity to develop healthy behaviors for the future. Our group and individualized therapy settings discuss topics that will give your child the tools and techniques establish healthy, positive thinking patterns and behaviors that are adoptable to real life settings.

Our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is available for adults age 18 and older who have a primary mental health diagnosis. This program allows individuals to work, go to school and carry on their daily activities while also receiving treatment services and support.

Group sessions are offered Monday through Friday for three hours a day. Individual and family sessions are available as needed.

Northlake offers a Dual Diagnosis treatment option as well as a detox plan for those struggling with co-occurring addiction disorder and mental illness.

Substance Use Disorder is a disease that affects a person's brain and behavior and leads to an inability to control the use of a legal or illegal drugs or medications. At Northlake, we recognize a variety of substance use addictions and ultimately help patients stop or reduce harmful substance use related practices, improve their health and social function as well as manage potential risks for relapse.
