NORTHLAKE FOR ADOLESCENTS

Mental illness can be debilitating to the point that a person may become suicidal or dangerous to themselves or others.

When this happens, that person may need to be voluntarily or even involuntarily admitted to an acute inpatient psychiatric treatment center. Mental illness can be evident when a person is not able to complete normal daily living tasks such as caring for themselves, not going to work or not taking their medicine for existing medical conditions. Individuals struggling with mental illness may benefit from inpatient psychiatric treatment. To learn more about inpatient treatment please reach out to our intake team.

When an individual in treatment stabilizes they will work with the clinical team and their support system to create a safe discharge plan which includes an aftercare program for continued treatment. Treatment length is based off each individual’s specific needs.
