Virtual Reality Therapy, VRT, is a type of computer-based therapy where the patient can be immersed in a simulated experience. VRT is often used for trauma-based therapy whereby a person can relive the trauma and learn to disconnect the memory from their response to the memory. This is also known as exposure therapy.
